Good to know
- 💡 Bloom typically peaks mid-April; aim for the anchor craft-fair weekend and budget a half day to drive the full Fruit Loop with stops.
Each April, the Hood River Valley marks Blossom Time as apple, pear, and cherry orchards burst into bloom against Mount Hood. Visitors drive the 35-mile Hood River Fruit Loop, stopping at farm stands, cideries, and more than two dozen Gorge wineries running blossom-season specials. The anchor event is the Blossom Festival Craft Fair at the Hood River County Fairgrounds (3020 Wyeast Rd), set for April 11-12 in 2026, with craft and food booths, a quilt show, and live music.
