About Gather Grove
Gather Grove is a celebration of everything the earth grows — and the farms where you can pick it yourself. We map the U-pick farms built around what comes from the ground: the cherry, garlic, strawberry and citrus harvests, the mushroom, pumpkin and lavender fields, the small-town farms near you — and the crops beloved here from around the world, from ube to dragon fruit. Starting from the West Coast, growing outward.
How this started
Gather Grove was built because our friends, family, and many people we cross paths with often don't know where the nearest U-pick farm is — or what's ready to pick there right now. The information is scattered across multiple websites and buried enough that finding it becomes a chore. Most of the time, people simply never find out a farm is open for picking — and the season quietly passes.
The information is out there — scattered across farm websites, Facebook pages, city tourism pages, and buried press releases — but finding it, let alone trusting it, takes real effort. That shouldn't be the case for something as joyful as harvest season.
Gather Grove exists to make it easier for everyone involved: the visitor who wants to know where to go and when, the farmer who needs people to show up while the harvest is actually ready, and the earth whose colorful and rich bounty deserves to be celebrated — not missed.

We verify farms against official sources and keep their details current — location, crops, and how to visit. We don't list farms we can't stand behind, so you always know what to expect before you go.
