Running since 1983, St. Josef's Grapestomping Festival marks the start of crush season at this family winery founded by German immigrants Josef and Lilli Fleischmann. Visitors stomp grapes in a 1,200-gallon oak barrel (the equivalent of 5,000 bottles of wine), enjoy live German music from the Gordonaires, and feast on house-recipe sausages, homemade sauerkraut, pork shank dinners, and Bavarian crepes. Admission is $15 day-of and includes a souvenir glass and $5 wine credit.
