Swan Island Dahlias in Canby hosts its annual Dahlia Festival every August 1 through September 30, when nearly 40 acres of fields and a display garden showcase more than 375 dahlia varieties at peak bloom. Open Wednesday through Sunday (plus Labor Day) from 9am to 5:30pm, the festival offers free admission and parking, daily food carts, live music on weekends, fresh-cut flower sales, and pre-registered classes on dahlia care and floral arts. Picnic tables are available and outside food is welcome.
