Julian's apple harvest is a season-long celebration rather than a single festival: from September through October, the historic San Diego County mountain town fills with visitors for orchard u-pick, cider pressing, and the town's famous apple pie bakeries. The Julian Chamber retired the old two-day Apple Days festival in 2018 in favor of harvest happenings spread across the whole season — weekends get busy, so come early or visit midweek.
