Kiger Island Blues (also known as Kiger Island Berry Farms) grows more than 10,000 Northern Highbush blueberry plants across six-plus acres on Kiger Island, just south of Corvallis in the Willamette Valley. Varieties like Duke, Bluecrop, Legacy, Liberty, and Elliott are staggered to ripen from late June into September, and the fruit is grown without chemical sprays. U-pick runs alongside a farmstand offering pre-picked and frozen berries, with no appointment needed. The farm is notably accessible: weed-mat pathways between rows, bushes pruned to pickable heights, ADA porta potties in season, and the option to drive right up to ripe rows on request.
Seasons and hours change with the weather and the crop — always check the farm's site before you go.
