Douglas Farm is a fifth-generation family farm on Sauvie Island, about 30 minutes from downtown Portland, known for its motto 'Nothing is as sweet as a Douglas Peach.' The u-pick season opens with peaches in late summer — Reliance ripens first, followed by Red Haven and canning-friendly Veteran — alongside Gravenstein apples, Asian pears, eggplant, zucchini, hot peppers, pickling cucumbers, and cherry tomatoes. The farm is closed in the off-season and reopens for peach season 2026; opening dates depend on the weather. Open weekends in season; cash is preferred, cards accepted.
