Draper Girls Country Farm is a third-generation family farm on Hwy 35 in the Hood River Valley, a stop on the famous Fruit Loop about 12 miles south of Hood River. U-pick runs roughly June through October: cherries in June-July, peaches and nectarines in August-September, and apples and pears (including 100-year-old trees) from August into October, with u-pick flowers in season. Picking is priced by the bucket rather than by the pound, and the country store is open daily year-round with fresh produce, jams, non-pasteurized cider, and award-winning hard cider made on-site from farm-grown apples. Goats are on the farm from late spring through fall.
