Hope Ranch Lavender is a family-run lavender farm at 2585 Fir Mountain Road in the Hood River Valley, a member stop on the Hood River Fruit Loop. During the summer season — roughly June 1 through Labor Day weekend — visitors can wander rows of about 12,000 lavender plants and cut their own bouquet, which the farm wraps on site for the ride home. The field offers wide mountain views of Mt. Hood and Mt. Adams, and a farm shop sells lavender products grown, harvested, and distilled on the ranch. An on-site food truck serving crepes and pre-cut farm bouquets round out the visit.
Seasons and hours change with the weather and the crop — always check the farm's site before you go.
