Jim Dandy Farm Market, at 45770 NW Sunset Hwy in Banks, has been farmed by the same family for four generations and has hosted fall visitors for over 40 years. The season starts in early May with a greenhouse of hanging baskets and vegetable starts, then shifts to a fruit stand around June 1 stocked with strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, cherries, peaches, apples, pears, and seasonal vegetables — plus u-pick flowers. In October the farm opens its pumpkin patch with a kid-friendly corn maze and tractor wagon rides; there's no entrance fee, and you pay only for pumpkins and produce.
