Lampson Blueberries has grown u-pick blueberries near Milton-Freewater since the early 1990s, with about nine acres in production and eight varieties ripening in waves — Duke, Reka, and Chandler first, followed by Toro, Bluegold, Olympia, and Darrow. Berries are not sprayed with chemicals, and over half the property is devoted to conservation and riparian habitat along the Walla Walla River. Picking is offered mornings and evenings on scheduled open days only; the 2026 season is expected to open in late June.
