Mt. View Orchards is a third-generation, 50-acre apple and pear farm on the Hood River Fruit Loop near Parkdale, Oregon, growing fruit for over fifty years. Rows of apple, pear, and peach trees are set aside for u-pick at a discounted per-pound rate, joined by u-pick flower fields — over 100 dahlia varieties plus sunflowers, hollyhocks, and cosmos — and an October pumpkin patch with hayrides. The on-site Grateful Vineyard tasting room pairs estate wine, cider, and craft beer with artisan pizza beneath views of Mt. Hood, and the meadow welcomes picnics and leashed dogs.
