Sunderland Acres is a boutique urban lavender farm in Northeast Portland's Sunderland neighborhood, founded in 2017 and home to about 1,000 Hidcote Blue and Grosso lavender plants grown with environmentally friendly, chemical-free methods. Visits are by appointment: private farm tours wander fragrant rows and hidden garden paths, with resident sheep and miniature donkeys along the way. A farm boutique sells lavender bath and body products, home goods, and culinary lavender, and the farm hosts curated events each season, including a ticketed butterfly release in the lavender field every June.
