A family-run farm in business for more than 60 years on Sauer's Flat along Highway 199 near Kerby, known across Southern Oregon for its intentionally misspelled 'Sweet Cron' roadside signs — a sign-painting error that became a beloved tradition. In late summer the stand sells sweet corn and other produce, and in fall visitors can pick their own pumpkin from the patch, grab a pre-picked one at the stand, and wander the corn maze. The 30-plus-acre operation recently invested in a major irrigation modernization that also improves stream flow in the Illinois River.
Seasons and hours change with the weather and the crop — always check the farm's site before you go.
