Anderson Blues has grown blueberries in the Willamette Valley for over 40 years, five miles north of Corvallis on NW Arboretum Road. The farm plants older blueberry varieties selected for flavor rather than shelf life, and while not certified organic, it avoids toxic chemicals and relies on hand weeding and other organic practices. Visitors can u-pick (buckets and boxes provided, or bring your own containers), order pre-picked We-Pick berries by phone, or grab frozen berries year-round at the drive-through window or sales shed. Look for Oma's poffertjes — small Dutch pancakes — at the farm in season. The 2026 season is expected to open in the last two weeks of June.
Seasons and hours change with the weather and the crop — always check the farm's site before you go.
