Detering Orchards has been farming near Harrisburg, between Corvallis and Eugene, since 1934. The farm grows more than 30 kinds of fruits and vegetables — apples, pears, peaches, cherries, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, tomatoes, peppers, and pumpkins — with most offered both picked and u-pick from summer through fall. The farm store stocks fresh produce along with house-made jams, salsa, and apple cider, and fall weekends bring the Apple Daze festival with wagon rides, a corn maze, and a walking pumpkin patch. Open daily 9am-5pm; u-pick check-in at the fruit stand closes at 4pm.
