Kiger Island Berry Farms (also known as Kiger Island Blues) grows 10,000 Northern Highbush blueberry plants across six acres on Kiger Island, just south of Corvallis. Varieties are staggered to ripen across the season — Duke first in late June, then Bluecrop, Legacy, and late-season Elliott. The farmstand and u-pick typically run mid-June through mid-September, with strawberries, apples, and pears in the mix and fresh-pressed apple cider in fall. The fruit is conventionally grown but never sprayed with chemicals, and the farm also sells at the Corvallis and Albany farmers markets.

Seasons and hours change with the weather and the crop — always check the farm's site before you go.
