The Old Trunk pairs a family u-pick berry patch with an antique store, fruit stand, espresso bar, and artisanal soda fountain in an early-1900s general store building on the Dee Highway, seven miles from Hood River. Organically grown marionberries, raspberries, and blueberries open for picking in late June and run through early August, sold by the pint, while cut-your-own flower gardens with 50+ cultivated varieties open in May. The fruit stand carries half and full flats of berries from their acre plus other Hood River Valley fruit as it ripens. A member of the Hood River Fruit Loop, open daily 10-5:30 from May through October.
